Health Is Wealth

“The most powerful force on this earth is the power of self.”

Every one wants to come up the corporate ladder. It is very attractive, unheard salaries, gizmos by companies to show and the infras, The more you grow the more you get entangled in its web and in LIFE. You become professionally busy and loose Friends and Family as you cannot spend qualitative time with them. You become a prisoner of your self.

Along with this you get bonus ill health. The diseases are directly proportional and different to your living styles than life styles. They do not understand the difference between the two. Due to the sparkling professional success, pressure and stress they get changed completely. This has no status and position bias. Even age is not the criteria. I know a young girl reeling under this called as “Stress Syndrome”. At 27 she is unfit to be a wife, mother and above all a Woman. It is similar to all levels of professionals. They cannot eat well, sleep well and live well. Many a time, they day dream about their year end appraisals, promotions, bonus and fringe benefits. Their biological clock is under irrevocable repair.

At the end of the year they get their benefits, again it is sleeplessness. Now it is how to spend, invest etc. Now their health is in the hands of their wealth. Some people are worried about their holiday trips. Some have a very different outlook completely, reason is they have health insurance card. They are not worried of falling sick because the insurance companies pay the bills, at what cost?

One you are up the professional ladder, you need not even put your foot down. AC Home, AC Car, Lift, AC Office late Office hours burning midnight oil, late dinners and late sleep. Slowly the physical body is out of gear. You give way to ill health and medicine wealth. We try to take remedial measures, but of no avail as the body have already modified to degrade, beyond repair.

Then why people in corporate work? What is the purpose of their busyness life? Is earning priority to health? Let us all think and have a debate.
